Right now, I am ankles deep into NaNoWriMo. Though, I'm not following any official rules. I am working on a story I had been working on this summer. I thought that I had a 6,000 word head start, but as it turns out about 1000 of those words were notes on what to do next.
At any rate, I am 8,500 words into this thing. I desperately want to share things, but there are a ton of scene turns, reveals and time jumps that are very delicate.
At present, the dialogue is far too reference-y, but that is what second drafts are for, right?
Right?!
